Mongolia—Land of Blue Sky—is an amazing place to spend your summer, especially when you have the opportunity to help 100 dedicated and enthusiastic Mongolian teachers improve their English and learn new teaching strategies and techniques. Although this is the ninth year that the Free Federation of Mongolian Education and Scientific Workers’ Trade Unions partnered with CTF for the English Summer Institute, this summer marked the first time that Mongolia’s ministry of education recognized the course and awarded participants with PD credits.

The positive influence of the Summer Institute on a returning Project Overseas participant is evident. Many former participants are now teacher-leaders who provide workshops and inservices for their colleagues.
