As part of the Grade 6 social studies program, students study the ancient civilization of Greece. The study unit celebrates Greek history and encourages students to don togas and participate in Olympic Games, apply to be Greek gods or goddesses, write their names with Greek letters and paint pots with Greek designs. —Story by Jock Mackenzie and photos by student Stephen Nagy
