More than 20 Australian teachers and their families attended the teacher exchange orientation at Barnett House, January 13. The one-day event provides exchange participants with information about Alberta’s education system and life in Alberta.

Scott Gray, a teacher from St. Andrew’s Catholic College in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, will teach at Thorhild Central School for a year. He and his wife, Nadine, and daughter, Joslyn, are looking forward to experiencing the Canadian weather, culture and winter sports.
