Collective Agreements

Bargaining for the 2020 round of Central Table bargaining is currently underway.

The parties at the Central Table have reached a Letter of Understanding (LOU) to allow the earlier implementation of a singular grievance procedure. While 2018-2020 collective agreements will not be updated with the LOU, the new language does come into effect as of 2022 02 01. Your Teacher Welfare Committee chairs will be reaching out to the membership in your respective bargaining units with some documents to explain what changes this LOU will make to your current local process.

You can view the LOU, with the new grievance procedure language, here.

If you belong to a bargaining unit that has ratified their 2018-2020 collective agreement, that new agreement will appear below once it has been prepared, proofread and fully signed off by all parties (date of the current agreement is shown). If the 2018-2020 agreement does not appear below, you can view the ratified memorandum(s) of agreement here (see local Bargaining under Bargaining Updates).

Collective agreements that have expired will continue to be bridged until a new agreement is ratified.
