Conference season

Teachers conduct an environmental education activity showing how different ecosystem elements are connected during the Earth Matters Conference in Canmore on Oct. 16. The conference is organized by the Global, Environmental & Outdoor Education Council.

Fall is a busy time for conferences for the Alberta Teachers’ Association and many of its specialist councils.

From late September to the end of November, nearly two dozen such conferences were scheduled to take place, with Edmonton, Calgary and Banff/Canmore being the main locations.
