Information available for those interested in running for PEC
Interested in running for one of the 18 positions on Provincial Executive Council? Make sure you are eligible.
The nominations package is now available at the Alberta Teachers’ Association’s website.The package contains all the information that potential candidates need to know about the 2015 PEC election, including eligibility requirements, campaigning guidelines and more. Hard copies (three maximum) of the package will be mailed to all ATA school representatives Nov. 25.
Charted below are the council positions that are open for election in each geographic district and a listing of ATA locals within each district. Elections will take place March 23. The term of office for all positions is July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017.
