The Leadership Essentials for Administrators conference attracted 167 delegates from across Alberta for two days of presentations and seminars on Nov. 17 and 18 at the Fantasyland Hotel in Edmonton. Aimed at school administrators, the conference covers a wide range of topics, including ATA supports for administrators, student assessment, building leadership, fostering effective relationships, teacher supervision, social media and collective agreements.
Sam Sellar, a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Education at the University of Queensland, delivers the opening session keynote address at the Leadership Essentials for Administrators conference on Monday, Nov. 17.
