Skills Canada competition

More than 700 Alberta high school students participated in the two-day Provincial Skills Canada Competition in Edmonton on May 13–14. The competition featured 45 unique events, including hairstyling, welding, carpentry, culinary arts, robotics and auto service. Winners earn the right to compete at the Skills Canada National Competition in Saskatoon, May 27–30.
