Students from Leduc Composite High School take a break during a visit to Machu Picchu in Peru over spring break. Over the course of 12 days in late March and early April, the students and two teachers — Don Steenwinkel and Jennifer Lasychuk — conducted a community service tour in the South American country. Their activities included planting trees in the Amazon rainforest and performing some patching and painting at a girls’ orphanage.
