Healthy Interactions: Understanding Conflict
Conference Room 6, Fantasyland Hotel, 17700-87 Avenue NW, Edmonotn, AB T5T 4V4, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
This workshop is based on the Alberta Teachers Associations Healthy Interactions Program. Healthy Interactions is a districtwide interest-based process for handling conflict concerns and has been successfully implemented in a number of school districts in the province. Although the concepts taught in this two-day workshop are based on the Healthy Interactions approach, it is significantly condensed and includes only a few of the individual skill building aspects of the program. This workshop is intended to help individual teachers and principals enhance their personal ability to deal with conflict concerns. Registration is free to active ATA members and includes all training materials, breakfast and lunch. Participants are responsible for substitute teacher, travel and accommodation costs. For information visit www.teachers.ab.ca and follow the links under For Members Healthy Interactions Program. Registration Deadline is 2018 07 31.
