For 25 years, the Association has held an annual Beginning Teachers Conference, which has proven to be a valuable opportunity for new teachers to network and learn from each other as they gain confidence in their new profession.
This year, the 26th annual Beginning Teachers Conference is being held virtually on September 24 and 25.

All About the Association and Specialist Councils: Break-out sessions with a variety of workshops, there’s bound to be several that call your name. Learn what the Association and specialist councils do and how they can benefit your career.
Registration is open to teachers in their first two years of classroom teaching and those teachers new to teaching in the province.
Teachers in charter, federal and private schools must be associate members of the Association to be eligible to attend the Beginning Teachers Conference. Information about becoming an associate member can be found here.
