Grade 6 students are learning first-hand about hunger, poverty, world peace and endangered species. The school’s Global Citizenship Club is the brainchild of teacher Rodney Corkum. "My goal is to educate the pupils so they are aware of major world issues but also to empower them by providing opportunities to actually help solve these global problems at the local level."
