Tale End
"The Alberta Teachers' Association will doubtless take credit for the provincial decision to spend more. But the union doesn't deserve it.''
—Columnist Don Braid writing in the Calgary Herald, December 16, 1998.
Provincial Teachers' Rally posters for sale

October 4, 1997, will go down in Alberta's history as the day that 20,000 teachers, students and friends of education gathered at the provincial legislature in Edmonton. To commemorate this important event, The Alberta Teachers' Association has produced a full-color poster of the aerial photograph that appeared on the cover of the October 14 issue of The ATA News.
The 18 x 24 poster is printed on glossy stock and is available for $6 per poster (price includes postage and handling and GST). To order, send the completed form along with payment to the ATA.
Postcards featuring the aerial photograph are available for free by contacting the distribution centre at Barnett House. In Edmonton, call 447-9400. From elsewhere in Alberta, call toll free at 1-800-232-7208.
