Curriculum and Student Evaluation Name Bank Application Form
The Association maintains a Curriculum and Student Evaluation Name Bank from which it selects teachers to serve on various Alberta Education curriculum and student evaluation committees as the need arises.
To be considered for inclusion in the name bank, teachers must meet the following criteria:
- Have a permanent professional teaching certificate.
- Have several years of successful teaching experience.
- Be a member of a relevant specialist council.
- Have a demonstrated ability to work with others in a committee setting.
In selecting representatives to sit on particular committees, the Association also takes into account an applicant's current assignment (including subjects taught, grade level and degree of supervisory responsibility), educational background (including degrees and area of specialization) and previous experience in developing curricula and/or student evaluation instruments.
Teachers interested in having their names added to the bank should fill out a curriculum and student evaluation name bank application form.
Teachers representing the Association on the committees of other organizations should submit representative report forms
on a regular basis to their Association contact.
