Actors with Multi-Youth Productions (MYP) perform a scene from Wasted Angels, a play about the devastating effect of crystal meth.

For 20 years, Stony Plain’s MYP has been inspiring youth to write and produce theatre productions on subjects of interest to junior and senior high students. The company is under the direction of school teacher Carol Gilchrist.

Wasted Angels has been performed for more than 40,000 audience members across Alberta. All junior and senior high schools are encouraged to download the full version of the play, a documentary and the accompanying teacher’s manual at no cost. This free offer is available to Alberta teachers until December 16, 2011. For information on this and other MYP productions, visit http://vimeo.com/channels/wastedangels.
