What is technology doing to our minds and bodies?

April 10, 2012

At a time of rapid technological change in society, Albertans need to understand the effect of online digital activities on the health and mental well-being of children and youth.

On April 25, the Alberta Teachers’ Association, in partnership with the Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research, is presenting an evening public lecture with distinguished speakers and international researchers Dr. Michael Rich and Dr. Paul Howard-Jones. Their discussion will focus on how technology holds both promise and peril for individuals, families and communities.

Although the evening lecture is sold out, you can still participate online by live webcast. The free webcast runs April 25, 7–9 p.m. mountain standard time. Participants must register online here.
