Description:

This workshop offers participants an overview of “Schools as Professional Learning Communities,” a program that the Association has developed to help schools create conditions that support teaching and learning. Professional learning communities are a holistic approach to school improvement that involves such strategies as creating a school vision and mission, using collaborative learning teams to solve problems, engaging in collective inquiry, using results-based decision-making and facilitating continuous learning.
