2nd Annual Speak Out Conference: Teachers Wanted!

Over the past year, thousands of student voices have been heard through Speak Out – the Alberta Student Engagement Initiative. Over the years, students have frequently asked for an opportunity to strengthen their connection with teachers. The 2nd Annual Speak Out Conference, to be held in Edmonton on May 14–16, 2010, will provide just that opportunity. Two hundred students, aged 14–19, and 100 teachers from across the province will come together to discuss how to better support one another in their schools. Teachers, join the conversation and encourage students from your school to attend. There are no conference fees, and accommodation and meals are provided.
